The summer of '36

Berlin 1936. Home of the Olympic Games of that year.

For 4000 athletes this was the place to practice, eat and sleep.

Coming at a time when the Nazis had been in power for three years,

it provided Hitler with a stage to show the world their greatness

and prove the superiority of the Aryan race.

Hitler was not pleased when a member of an 'inferior race' ultimately proved superior to the rest.

There was nothing inferior about the aforementioned Owens' with 4 gold medals affirmed.

Nowadays you can make a guided tour, and bit by bit some buildings are getting restored, such as the pool.
